Tom Shrout and Les Wright, commissioners of the Westminster/Lake Special Business District, reported to the trustees that revenue for the district will increase to about $88,000 for 2006 due to increased property values, reassessments, increased rate of assessments, and increased contributions from the Washington trustees. Tom and Les said that the district planned on increasing the number of hours Hi-Tech works, creating a small reserve fund for capital improvements and attention to security concerns, and looking into retaining a consultant to help evaluate security in the district in order to develop strategies for improvement.
